Tomatoes in cheese batter

hard cheese – 100 g
Sour cream – 80 g low-fat and thick
Eggs – 2 pcs.
Tomato – 3 pieces.
Wheat flour – 1 tbsp
Dried garlic – 2 pinches
Seasoning – 1 tsp of the mixture of dried herbs
Salt – to taste
Black pepper – to taste
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp for frying

Grate the cheese on a medium grater.

In a bowl trying to drive the eggs, pour the grated cheese and add sour cream, flour, dry garlic and a couple of pinches of a mixture of dried herbs.

Approximate composition of herbs: thyme, basil, oregano, a little rosemary, oregano.

Herbs – it does not matter, just for flavor, so you can add what you love.

And now all mix well with a fork. Batter ready. It’s pretty thick.

Tomatoes cut into pieces about 1 cm thick

Top each slice with salt and pepper.

Frying pan heat and add a couple of tablespoons of oil. Each slice of tomato to put in the batter, and because it is thick, how would bury tomatoes.

After pick up from the bottom with a fork and immediately into the pan. I always put the top down on a frying pan (top of the batter and get a lot of it is kept).

But the downside is obtained with a small amount of batter, so I spread even spoon on top of the tomatoes. And so with every bite.

Fry over medium heat. Fry for three minutes on each side.

Tomatoes with cheese batter tasty both hot and cold.

Bon Appetit!
