Soup – puree of tomato and basil

Ingredients:

vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
onions – 2 pcs
Basil – 1 bunch
sour cream – 6 tablespoons
large carrot – 1 pc
salt
large tomatoes – 6 pieces
sugar – 1 tsp
chicken broth – 0.5 l
water – 0.5 liters

Preparation:

Tomatoes Wash and cut into slices. Onions and carrots cleaned, cut into cubes. Basil wash, chop. Onions and carrots fry in a pan, 4 min.

Add tomatoes and sugar, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.

Chop the vegetables in a blender and return to pot. Pour the chicken broth, add 0.5 liters of hot water, salt to taste and basil. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

Serve with sour cream.
