Shortbread cookies with jam


Flour – 400 g
Butter or margarine – 200 g
Sugar – 250 g
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Cinnamon – 25 g
Jam thick – 150g
Powdered sugar – 50 g
Nuts – 150g


1. Sift the flour necessarily through a sieve, whisk egg yolks.

2. Make a well in center of flour and pour in the beaten egg yolks, add sugar, softened butter or margarine, add a pinch of salt. Stir the mixture and add ground cinnamon. Quickly knead the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3. When the dough to get it out of the fridge and cut into small cakes. In each make a well, you can make a small bottomed cup, sprinkle with chopped nuts.

4. Share on blank cookie thick jam.

5. Bake in a heated 220 degree oven about 15-20 minutes. Cookies must be cool on the baking sheet, or it will break.

6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
