Savory snack meatballs

By definition, this is a hot appetizer, which is suitable for wine. But if you serve these meatballs with boiled rice, they can be an excellent main course.

At the heart of sharp-sweet sauce, stewed in which these little meatballs – apricot jam. It can be replaced with another jam according to your taste – cranberry, grape or orange.

Ingredients for 6 servings:

800 g pork or ground beef
100g breadcrumbs
2 medium onions
100ml milk
A small bundle of parsley
2 tsp salt
1 tsp Worchester sauce
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco)
400 g apricot jam

Preparation:

Onion and parsley finely chop.

Put in a bowl all ingredients except hot sauce and jam. Good mix.

From stuffing forming small balls with a diameter of about 2 cm. Put on the laid foil pan.

Put the baking sheet in a preheated 200 degree oven and bake for about 20 minutes.

Put the skillet sauce and jam, we warm up. Put the meatballs and simmer, uncovered and stirring occasionally, about 20-25 minutes.

Serve hot.
