Salad with shrimps on charcoal

This dish can be only two problems. First – it is hard to clean shrimp after baking. The second supplements is not enough at all. And for more sure will come.


32 raw tiger prawns
2 heads of iceberg lettuce
5 medium sweet tomatoes
2 large and 1 small lemon
5 sprigs of parsley
2 sprigs of thyme
2 cloves of garlic
1 large French baguette
200 ml olive oil
0.5 tsp. cumin
salt, freshly ground black pepper


Lettuce leaves cut with ceramic knife or napvite hands into small pieces. Tomatoes cut into slices.

Large lemons cut into 4 pieces and cook on coals or a grill frying pan for 3-4 min until the formation of black strips.

Drizzle the prawns with oil and cook on the grill over coals or on a griddle for 2-3 minutes, turning once. Cool a little and remove the shell.

Make the dressing: in a mortar pound the garlic with salt, sprinkle chopped herbs and spices, RUB the mixture to a paste. Squeeze mortar into the remaining lemon.

Without ceasing to stir, gradually pour in the olive oil dressing. Mix vegetables and shrimp with dressing.

Toast baguette cut in half lengthwise and then into several parts slightly diagonally. Quickly fry the bread on the grill. Serve the salad with roasted lemons and croutons.
