1 tablespoon olive oil
400 grams of spicy smoked sausage
1.5 cup onion, diced
2 cloves garlic,
2 cups chicken broth
1 (280 g) canned tomatoes in own juice, with the addition of chili
1/2 cup heavy cream
230 g penne pasta
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 cup grated cheese
1/3 cup chopped green onions


Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat until smoke. Add the sliced ​​sausages and onion and cook until lightly browned, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for about 30 seconds.

Add broth, tomatoes, cream, pasta, salt and pepper and stir. Bring to a boil, cover the pan and reduce the heat to below average. Simmer until noodles are tender, about 15 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and mix with 1/2 cup cheese. Sprinkle remaining cheese and onions. Broil until cheese melts and bubbles to a brownish color.
