Onion Tatin

Ingredients:

balsamic vinegar – 4 tbsp
small onions – 500 g
butter – 50 g
ready puff pastry – 250 g
salt, pepper
sprigs of thyme – 3 PCs.
sugar – 3 tbsp

Preparation:

Onions peeled, cut in half. Butter in the frying pan with detachable handle, put the onion and brown it on all sides over medium heat, until the acquisition of light-brown color, about 7 min. Add vinegar, sugar and a glass of hot water. Cook, stirring, another 5-7 min. Put the thyme, salt and pepper. Remove from the heat.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. roll out the Dough into a thin layer. Cut out the circle slightly larger than the diameter of the pan.

Put the dough on the bow, folding the edges inside. Put in the oven for 25 min. the Finished pie to turn on a dish and cut into portions.
