Onion rings in batter

One of the simplest and most popular snacks. It can be served as a snack with beer, as well as in combination with meat dishes, cheese and all sorts of sauces.

Prepare it a few minutes, and all the products are always available. Batter on beer turns crisp and fragrant.


2-3 onions,
Flour 3/4 cup (cup = 250ml)
1/2 cup of beer,
1 large egg,
vegetable oil for frying.


Make the batter: whisk, beat flour, egg and beer. Season with salt and pepper.

Clean the onion, cut into rings.

In a deep skillet heat the vegetable oil. Oils pour about 1 cm in depth. Dipping rings in batter.

Carefully lay in the hot oil, fry in both sides until golden brown.

Ready-made rings are passed on to a paper towel so that it absorbed all the excess fat. Here you can sprinkle your favorite spices rings, or salt, then the batter makes it less salty.

Incredibly fast and easy! And the result – delicious, fragrant and crunchy rings.

Very tasty rings are supplied with a variety of sauces, for example, I love them with sweet and sour sauce.
