Meatless orange cake of semolina


Semolina – 200g (1 cup 250 ml)
Orange juice (ready, in batches, or fresh) – 200 ml
Flour -.. 200 g incl strewing flour form
Sugar – 200 g
Vegetable oil – 100 g + oil for the lubrication of the form
Grated orange peel – 1 tsp (taste)
Soda – 1 tsp
Flour or bread crumbs (optional) – for strewing form


Turn on the oven. Grate orange peel.

In a bowl pour the orange juice (squeeze the juice of oranges, or use ready-made). Add semolina. Mix well until homogeneous.

Then add the sugar, vegetable oil. Mix.

Add the orange zest. Mix. Leave on for 20-30 minutes for swelling semolina.

Add soda (not extinguish because acid is added to the dough orange juice). Mix.

Sift flour. Add flour in small portions, stirring all the time to avoid lumps. The consistency of the dough should be like sour cream.

The form of grease. Sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs.

The dough is poured into the mold. Form put in the oven on the middle shelf. Bake lean manna at 180-190 ° C about 40 minutes.
