Meatless bagels with bananas and dates


For the dough:

Flour – 450 g
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 pinch
Apple Juice – 200 ml
Vegetable oil – 180 ml
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Vanilla – 1 pinch

For filling:

Dates – 20 pcs.
Bananas – 2 pcs.
Peanuts – 100g

For the top:

Starch or jelly – 4 tsp
Water – 2 tbsp
Peanuts – to taste


The stuffing can be changed to any dried fruit, berries, nuts, jam, marmalade.

Pour oil into the juice. If the juice is sour, add more sugar.

Pour the flour and baking powder (flour can take up to 500 g), knead a soft pliable dough.

Divide it into 4 parts on the table, roll out each into a circle and cut into triangles.

For the filling: wash dates, coarsely chopped banana and whisk blender with roasted peanuts. Apply a spoonful of weight on each triangle and tightly rolled.

Instead of eggs to the top is fine divorced starch or dry cranberry jelly.

Grease brush with kiselёm top and poppy bagel kiselёm in crushed nuts. Spread on a greased form.

Bake bagels in a preheated to 190 ° C 15-20 minutes.
