Courgettes in Greek


large tomatoes – 1 pc.
flour – 2 tbsp
courgettes – 2 pcs.
1 bunch of sorrel (in the original – spinach)
sugar – 1 tsp
vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil – for frying
green onions – 1 bunch
sweet pepper – 1 pc


Sorrel sort out, wash thoroughly and cut into fairly large. Onion, pepper and tomato to wash and dry. Cut the vegetables into small pieces.

Preheat a skillet vegetable oil, fry the peppers and onions. Add the sorrel, tomatoes and sugar, salt to taste. Cover with a lid and simmer the vegetables for 15 minutes.

Courgettes cleaned and cut into circles. Roll the zucchini in flour and fry in vegetable oil for 1 minute on each side.

Add steamed vegetables, stir and cook for another 5 minutes. The dish can be served both hot and cold.
