Cabbage salad with mustard, horseradish and tabasco

Cabbage salad with mustard, horseradish and tabasco

Ingredients:

half of the average head of cabbage
2 large celery stalks
1 sweet green pepper
4 white heads of green onions
a small bunch of dill
a pinch of cayenne pepper

For the filling:

1 tbsp mustard, Dijon better
2 tsp not very sharp horseradish
1 tsp Tabasco sauce
2 tsp red wine vinegar
5 tbsp sunflower oil
salt, freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

Cut green pepper in half, release it from the seeds and finely chop sticks. Celery rinse, remove the lower 2 cm stem and stiff fibers, if any.

The white part of green onions cut into very thin rings. Finely shred the cabbage and mix with the prepared green pepper, onion and celery.

In another bowl, mix the mustard, horseradish and Tabasco; whipping whisk or a fork, add the vinegar and then pour in vegetable oil. Season with salt.

Pour salad dressing, mix thoroughly and leave it for 1 hour to produce juices soaked each other and filling.

Before serving, chop the dill. Salad mix again and sprinkle with dill and cayenne pepper.
