Belgian waffles


Flour – 215 g

Corn (potato) starch – 70 g

Vegetable oil – 6 tablespoons

Baking powder – 2 tsp

Kefir – 375 ml

Milk – 125 ml

Sugar – 3 tbsp

Vanilla – ½ tsp,.

Egg – 2 pcs.

Salt – 1 pinch

Fresh seasonal berries – feed

Chocolate paste – feed

Whipped cream – feed

Powdered sugar – feed


In a deep container, connect the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Mix thoroughly.

Separate the whites from the yolks. Place the yolks in a deep container, add to the butter, yogurt and milk. Beat mixture using a hand mixer (immersion blender) for 2 minutes.

In a separate container proteins with sugar and vanilla, beat until soft peaks form.

Combine all three prepared mixture, mix until uniform using a mixer.

Bake in preheated waffle iron (based on average test ladle 1 on the wafer 1). Finished wafers spread on a baking sheet.

Send waffles a few minutes to dry in a preheated oven (must be formed crisp).

Waffles place on serving plates, garnish with whipped cream, fresh berries, chocolate paste, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
